Third Annual Tulip Tree Lane Block Party
On Saturday, October 21, 2006, Sharon Simpson and Lindy Barry hosted the hugely successful Third Annual Tulip Tree Block Party where neighbors from Villa Maria West could enjoy food, fun, games and each other's company. Volunteer firemen from the Robertson
Fire Company offered plastic fire hats and a seat on the driver's side of the fire truck to those eager to join the fun. Several neighbors participated in the main event of this year's block party; the chili cook-off and bakery contest.
Even after the onset of continuous rain several neighbors congregated to the garage area to watch the Cardinals game together.
